The most significant update in this version is the addition of support for WPS Office software, introducing a brand new WPS Add-in Plugin that allows WPS users to easily convert workbooks to JSON format.

Installation Method
Prerequisites
- Ensure WPS software is installed on your computer (Windows or Linux system)
- Latest version of WPS is recommended for optimal experience
Installation Steps
- Open the webpage https://wps-workbook-to-json.wtsolutions.cn/publish.html using Google Chrome or another modern browser
- After opening the webpage, the browser may ask for permission to open WPS and access local data, please allow these requests
- In the WPS add-in configuration area at the bottom of the webpage (scroll down), you will see a list of available plugins
- Find the plugin named “wps-workbook-to-json” and click the install button next to it
- A pop-up will ask if you trust this plugin, click Trust, and you should see a successful installation message
- Open WPS and create a new workbook
- After first installing the plugin, WPS will ask for permission to access
https://s.wtsolutions.cn, please click Allow - A new tab “Excel to JSON by WTSolutions WPS add-in” will appear in the WPS ribbon area
Usage Instructions
- Click on the “Launch Excel to JSON by WTSolutions WPS add-in” button (with Excel to JSON logo) under the “Excel to JSON by WTSolutions WPS add-in” tab
- Choose DataSource
- Manually select your data directly from the WPS worksheet
- Set conversion options (refer to the technical documentation for detailed configuration)
- Click the “Go” button to start the conversion
- After conversion is complete, the generated JSON will be displayed below the “Go” button, and you can save it in the following ways:
- Copy and Paste: Copy the generated JSON directly from the text box
- Copy to Clipboard: Click the “Copy to Clipboard” button
- Save to File: Click the “Save As” button to save the JSON to a file
